The house has a wonderful location, facing south and with magnificent views. The building design objective was to recreate the simple forms of the vernacular architecture. Our aim was to use as few materials as possible for the finishes: sandstone for the exterior linings and the ground floor floorings, grey anodised aluminium for the carpentry, and white paint for the interior walls and ceilings. In the entrance hall there is a sculptural, wood-lined staircase which leads up to the first floor, where the bedrooms are located.
