SANT MAGI HOUSE

This renovation project was for a house, with adjoining buildings either side, in the iconic district of Santa Catalina. The original composition of the façade and positioning of windows and balconies was preserved, while the interior was altered to give it a more effective layout and provide the spaces with enough light. The main entrance to the house is on the ground floor, where there is also a shop, while the house itself is above the shop. Although the existing house was quite small in size, we were able to divide the space into three levels. The bedrooms are located on the first and third floors while the second floor has an open-plan design with a living space, dining area and kitchen. The flat roof terrace is accessed from the third floor by a lightweight staircase, which allows overhead light to enter, and has wonderful views overlooking the neighbourhood and the sea.
