Location & Setting
Set on rural land in the Pollença Valley, northeast Mallorca, the house enjoys a south-facing orientation beside the Sant Jordi stream, with views toward the northern mountains and Puig de Maria. Preserved tree lines define the plot, maintaining its agricultural character. Access is via a secondary road and a pedestrian path through olive groves.

Project & Layout
The house is divided into several volumes to reduce its visual impact on the landscape, creating landscaped courtyards that connect interior and exterior spaces. Living areas and bedrooms are clearly separated, with south-facing day spaces opening onto a pergola terrace. The pool is detached from the main building and surrounded by native, low-water planting. A combination of pitched and flat roofs adds volumetric richness.

Materiality & Sustainability
Façades combine earth-toned finishes with traditional stone masonry sourced from the site. Interiors feature local limestone floors, white surfaces, and oak wood accents. Layered openings—shutters, screens, sliding windows, and curtains—filter light and climate in line with Mediterranean tradition. High-performance insulation and solar protection ensure efficient energy behavior.
