13 State-subsidised homes in Moscari

Location: Moscari, Selva
Area: 1.380 m²
Project: 1999
Completion of work: 2003

These state-subsidised houses are located on the edge of the town, and have an excellent orientation and wonderful views. They were built according to the design project that won a competition organised by the Balear Housing Institute (IBAVI). The homes are duplexes, and slightly staggered to adapt to the sloping terrain. The living room and main bedroom face south overlooking the garden, and have scenic views.

The design of elements such as the façades and flat roofs all comply with municipal building regulations, which stipulate that they should be in keeping with the vernacular architecture.
